Learn Music Production Basics In NYC!

Join us for a free Workshop geared to new producers interested in learning how to create electronic music with Ableton Live. NYC producer and 343 Labs instructor Great Dane gives an overview of producing music with Ableton Live including building a beat from scratch. Learn why Ableton Live is such a popular software among electronic music producers. This workshop is designed for beginners, or people who have produced with other software and are interested in getting started with Ableton. There are no prerequisites to joining, we'll meet you at the start of you music production journey.

During the event, 343 Labs will be opening its doors for an Open House, where attendees can tour the facilities, learn about 343 Labs courses, and meet some of the instructors. This is a great way to get a feel for the community and programs at 343 Labs, meet fellow producers, and ask any questions you may have about our school.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR

Great Dane

Dane Morris, known professionally as Great Dane, is a Brooklyn-based producer and DJ known for his work in bass music and forward-thinking electronic production. Over the past decade, he has released six full-length albums and performed internationally, including major festivals such as EDC Las Vegas and Coachella, as well as touring alongside artists like Diplo, Flying Lotus, and Tokimonsta. As a co-founder of TeamSupreme and founder of ADBC Records, Dane has been deeply involved in artist development and the independent electronic music scene. At 343 Labs, he teaches music production and DJing, focusing on creativity, arrangement, and developing a distinct artistic voice.
